That's probably how my break has been. Most of the time I have been sitting here on my stomach or on my butt surfing the web for new SoulCalibur V announcements, or seeing what my friends are up to on the ever-present demon known as Facebook. I haven't really been going out much at all really, save for a sleepover and a couple nights where I didn't get home until like midnight.
For the most part, my laziness has been insurmountable. I have tried to get myself to play a video game, or to start a movie, but this darn computer draws me back into it's hole of memes and music videos. Now, I probably have a major case of first world problems right now and I understand. I'm just a tad lazy, I know.
However, tomorrow at 10 AM I shall be headed back to the heart of Texas, Austin, I will once again be reacquainted with all of the creepers, hipsters, and hobos that roam The Drag, and I will once again begin the stress-outs over exams, quizzes, and essays. It's endless.
There are a few parts of me that don't want to go back though. There are certain people and things I am anxious to get back to, because I'm not sure about the notes I left them on. They might've hated me since the last time we spoke, or they just want nothing to do with me. It's definitely just a little bit scary. However, we do what we must in this world I suppose.
I do have a couple of things keeping me going though. SoulCalibur V and Final Fantasy XIII-2 both release at the end of this month on January 31st, which is about.... 17 days from today? Not bad. SC looks to be a ton of fun, they've revamped the fighting engine and I've actually ordered myself a Fightstick like you see in the arcades to play it! I'm so pumped.
So, with video game releases approx. 2-3 weeks away, I've been counting down the days and preparing myself for another crazy semester. Who knows, blog? Perhaps I'll update this a little more regularly than last semester. We'll see. If I don't though, wish me luck on my future endeavors, and I hope all of y'all be safe and make this semester or year one to remember!
